Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

EMTEK Solutions, LLC wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or speech input. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, so we are describing an aim rather than claiming conformance. When that audit happens we will say who did it and what it found, on this page.

What we have done

• Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is visible
• A skip link takes you straight to the main content
• Headings are properly nested so screen reader users can navigate by structure
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
• Text and interface colors were chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
• Forms have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown by color alone
• Menus close on Escape and return focus to the control that opened them
• The layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling, and text can be resized to 200%

Known limitations

We would rather list these than let you find them:

• The homepage hero rotates between images automatically. It pauses on hover and focus, but there is no dedicated pause control yet. We are adding one.
• Some third-party content we may add later, such as a booking widget or a chat window, is not fully under our control. Where we cannot make it accessible we will publish an alternative way to do the same thing.
• Any PDF we publish for download has not been remediated for screen readers. Ask us and we will send you the content in an accessible format.

If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, we want to hear about it, and we will not ask you to prove it. Email info@emteksolutions.net or call (301) 850-2994. Tell us the page and what happened.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to tell you what we are going to do about it, including when we cannot fix something quickly.

Anything published on this site is available by phone or email. If a page is not working for you, call (301) 850-2994 during Mon to Fri, 8:00am to 6:00pm ET and someone will go through it with you.
