IT support for your industry

Construction and AEC

Half your business runs from a trailer, a truck, or a phone. Your IT has to work there too.

What this fixes

Construction and design firms have an IT problem that office-only businesses do not: the work is not in the office. It is on a site with no wired connection, in a truck, on a tablet in the rain, on a phone at a walkthrough. Devices get dropped, stolen, and left in vehicles. Staffing swings with the project pipeline, and every seasonal hire needs access on day one and loses it on their last.

The file problem is its own category. CAD and BIM models are enormous, several people need the current version, and the difference between a shared folder that syncs properly and one that does not is a week of rework and an argument about who overwrote what.

There is a security dimension people underestimate. Construction firms move large payments on predictable schedules, which makes them a favorite target for invoice and payment-redirection fraud. And if you hold any federal or defense work, CMMC and NIST 800-171 obligations may reach your subcontract.

What is included

The support and controls we plan around your organization. Compare our plans.

  • Job-site connectivity

Trailer networking, cellular failover, and site Wi-Fi that holds up for the people who need it, planned before mobilization rather than improvised after.

  • Device management for equipment that lives outdoors

Enrollment, encryption, remote lock and wipe, and a clean separation between company data and the personal phone it sits on. When a tablet goes missing off a site, it is an inconvenience rather than a disclosure.

  • File and model performance

Storage and sync configured for large CAD and BIM files, version control that survives several people working the same week, and remote access that does not make a 400MB model unusable.

  • Project software that stays up

Coordination and support for the platforms your business actually runs on, so the question of whether it is a licensing problem or a network problem gets answered by us and not by you.

  • Payment-fraud defense

Email authentication, impersonation protection, and external-sender warnings on the accounts that approve payments, plus a plain-language verification process for changes to banking details.

  • Seasonal onboarding and offboarding

A repeatable process so a new crew member has what they need on day one, and no longer has it the day they leave.

Questions we get asked

Have a question about your setup? Include it in the form below.

Can you support people who are never in the office?

That is most of the work. Remote support is the default; we come to the office or the site when the problem needs hands.

Our models are huge and everything is slow. Is that fixable?

Usually, yes, and usually it is a combination of where the files live, how they sync, and how people are connecting. That is one of the first things a risk analysis or assessment surfaces.

We just won federal work and someone mentioned CMMC. Now what?

Raise it on the first call. Scope is the whole game with CMMC, and getting the boundary right early is much cheaper than fixing it later.

Not sure where you stand?

The free external risk analysis shows you what an attacker can already see, no software installed, no access to your systems. Or book thirty minutes with a senior engineer and we will tell you the one thing we would fix first.

Tell us what is going wrong.

Tell us about your systems, locations and current IT concerns. We support organizations in DC, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.
