Privacy Policy

This policy covers this website only. If you are an EMTEK client, the handling of data inside the systems we manage for you is governed by your service agreement and any business associate or data processing agreement attached to it, not by this page.

What we collect

We collect what you type into a form on this site and nothing else. Every form asks for the same things:

• Your name
• Your business or organization name
• Your work email address
• Your phone number, which is optional
• What you need, chosen from a short list of topics
• Anything you write in the message box

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or health information anywhere on this site. Please do not put them in the message box.

Why we use it

To reply to you, and to keep a record of the conversation so that whoever picks it up next does not make you start again. If you asked for a free risk analysis, we also use your domain name to run that analysis and to send you the written summary.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question, and if we ever start sending a newsletter you will have to ask for it.

Who else processes it

Your submission is stored in EMTEK's customer relationship and helpdesk systems, which are provided by Zoho Corporation. Zoho processes the data on our instructions in order to provide those systems to us. Our email is hosted by Microsoft. Both are bound by their own agreements with us and neither is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. The only browser storage in use is what the site needs to function. There is no consent banner because there is nothing here that requires one. If that changes, this section changes with it before the change ships.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we are in contact with you about it, and for a period afterwards so we can pick the conversation back up and meet our own record-keeping obligations. We do not keep it indefinitely. If you want your record removed sooner, ask and we will remove it.

Your choices

Email info@emteksolutions.net and ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will confirm your request in writing. If you are covered by a law that gives you specific rights over your personal data, tell us which one and we will handle your request under it.

Security

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in access-controlled systems. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. What we will say is that we apply to our own systems the controls we recommend to clients.

Children

This site is aimed at organizations, not individuals, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

When we change it we update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will be described here rather than made quietly.
